Vinyasa Yoga
Vinyasa yoga is a breath-centred practice which allows you to transition very easily from busyness in the mind into stillness of the mind. This helps us experience a very grounded practice. Vinyasa yoga aims to weave poses together into a “thread” and in doing so, can feel quite dance-like. I like to give beginner students a basic knowledge of poses that they can practice safely in the yoga class as well as at home if they wish to do so.

Dee Griffin
Vinyasa Yoga Instructor
I did a little bit of yoga in my teenage years but started practicing regularly in 2013. This is when I discovered vinyasa yoga and fell in love with it straight away! Having come from a background in ballet, I loved the flowing style of vinyasa as well as the discipline it required for both body and mind. In more recent times, I have become interested in breath work (pranayama) and how breathing correctly affects our physical and mental health. I have also began to appreciate the spiritual aspects of yoga through regular practice. I completed my vinyasa yoga teacher training in 2015 with Green Lotus Yoga. I continue to do workshops in order to develop my knowledge and practice and I am fully insured to teach under Yoga Alliance U.K.
